How did you start Kiss My Wheatgrass?
When my mom found out that she had Bronchiectasis, she had to completely change up her entire diet. It was definitely going to be a HUGE adjustment so I decided to do it with her. We would always look at instagram for some healthy food inspiration and I always said that I would make one when I was out of college and had more time. One summer I just thought to myself “why wait??” and decided to make one!
I know how much you love to work out. Do you consider yourself an athlete?
Yes! I would consider myself an athlete because I lift weights every single day and absolutely love it. Besides that, I am always down to do any sort of physical activity that comes my way, especially beach volleyball!!
What’s your view on how food plays a role in keeping a sharp mind and functional body?
I believe food is a huge factor in regards to a sharp mind and functional body. It is so important that you give your body with whole, nutrient-dense foods that are made up of ingredients that you can actually pronounce. I also believe that you should focus on thinking positively about the different foods that you should be eating instead of the ones you shouldn’t have eaten. Every body is different but the commonality is that each should be fueled with REAL foods to lead to a sharper mind and more functional body.
