ESPN teases Annual World Fame 100 with a cover photo of Naomi Osaka

Every year, The ESPN Magazine ranks the biggest names in sports. The publication looks at endorsements, search score and social following for athletes worldwide to determine rank. Last year, 12 women made the list:

Serena Williams was the first woman on the list in at no. 12, followed by tennis stars Maria Sharapova, Venus Williams.

Badminton player Saina Nehwal was next, followed by more tennis stars — Caroline Wozniacki and Simona Halep.

Next came soccer player Alex Morgan, and then swimmer Fu Yuanhui.

Skiier Lindsey Vonn slid in at no. 95, followed by golfer Michelle Wie. Tennis players Victoria Azarenka and Sania Mirza wrapped up the list.

ESPN’s World Fame 2019 list won’t be released until the end of the month, but thanks to Naomi Osaka’s Instagram feed, we know one name that will be on the list.
