LUNA Bar narrows the pay gap for USWNT in honor of Equal Pay Day

Earlier this week on Equal Pay Day, Luna Bar announced that it will pay every player on the USWNT (23 player world cup roster) $31,250 each to make up for the disparity in roster bonuses awarded to the men’s team.

This comes about a month after Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe, Becky Sauerbrunn and 25 other USWNT players sued the U.S. Soccer Federation in federal court in California, claiming gender discrimination.
