The Washington Mystics’ Elena Delle Donne was named the 2019 WNBA MVP for the second time in her career.
The honor comes after Delle Donne became the first ever WNBA player to join the 50-40-90 club earlier this month. The club is exclusive — to join, players have to shoot at least 50% from the field, 40% from three-point range and 90% from the free throw line during the regular season.
Delle Donne is also the first first player in WNBA history to win the MVP with multiple teams. She was the MVP in 2015 when playing with the Chicago Sky.
